I recently started using this system. It's the only one I've ever used besides rigid once so I cant really compare to others but it works well for me.

There's a levelling system made by Porcelanosa and it's called "Butech" (very little info on internet) and they have exactly the same pliers, I use it for a while, but it was too expensive comparing with others, I ended up buying Levtec and similar and I cut it with a hacksaw, it works perfectly on bigger size systems, better than most metal pliers

Peygran all the way. Was a levtec fan for years. But levtec been breaking flush with tile and that’s a no go. Peygran is a clean break every time
@carld91175 жыл бұрын
i like Spin Doctor easier to tweak or remove a tile, the spin on piece is good for sliding and feeling for lippage. the spent pieces can be used for spacers. $28 for $250 clips. Only downside is if the torque them hard they can twist the spacer and widened gap but i found wedge systems can also shift tiles when torqued if not careful

How well did the Peygran clips hold up on your projects? Any difference in breakage during installation or extra effort to break/remove the clips & wedges? A person would "think" that the Peygran clips might actually be stronger since there is more clip material on each side of the narrower wedge used in this system.
@LandbergTileTV5 жыл бұрын
Both clips rarely break when installing and both systems seem to be equal.

Ha! Nice job on the Video 👍 I dig the beard. We've used the peygran system a couple of times with no major issues. I will always prefer LevTec. But I actually prefer the peygran system over t lock. The t lock clips need some r&r and a price decrease in my opinion. LevTec has their whole system on point. The clips especially though. Thanks again man 👍

I haven’t used this system but I did buy their grouting system, included a nifty bucket and these 3 massive sponges mounted to a interchangeable handle. I was very disappointed overall because the roller system on the bucket wouldn’t allow you to dry the sponge enough. Ended up using the ol trusty 2 buck sponge has anyone had experience with this system? Maybe I was doing it wrong.
@jfontesrj5 жыл бұрын
Mike Newitt i have the grouting system and works well for me. But I don’t like all the sponges, the one that’s all cut off is the best. I use this for first and second water cleaning. Good look!
@doitnewitt41635 жыл бұрын
CariocaTV I agree first and 2nd clean it works fine but for final clean you can’t get it dry enough with the rollers. The course sponge would be ideal if you are really messy and need to clean before grouting. So far I’ve only used it to clean concrete before laying vinyl 😂
@jfontesrj5 жыл бұрын
Mike Newitt I recommend you to use the grouting just for grout cleaning. For grout haze use a sponge mop with a microfiber towel to remover the haze.
@doitnewitt41635 жыл бұрын
CariocaTV have you ever tried the sponge that is included in the bucket of mapei flexcolor cq ? I’ve tossed it aside but tried it the other day and was very surprised how well it did.

Do the smaller wedges make any difference? Also, I noticed by using the Peygran system it increases beard growth lol. Great review.

I don't believe so, the clip is what matters. One benefit of smaller wedges is storage, and yeah lol, had to throw something fun in at the end 👊

Leveling systems open up the lines when you tighten it up. You won't get a true 1/16 grout line...It'll be a little bigger. It won't level tiles that come in different thickness and will leave lippage. Using a leveling system in a small bathroom may work well because you're not getting paid by the sq ft and the area is small. Using a leveling system in a large floor will slow you down and cost you a lot of money because you typically get paid by the sq ft to install large floors and inserting/tightening up clips is time consuming. You must be getting paid to advertise it or getting a comission.
@travis75005 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your videos, but you don't give any opinions on the product. Is this better or worse than the others? You say they're priced competitively, but I think Lev-tec (which I ordered today because of your videos) is actually a better deal, imo. You get 20% more of the wedges/clips and a better case/box. In either case, I'd look to hear your thoughts on the product based on your clear expertise. Even if you just say that it's no better or worse than the other brands.
@LandbergTileTV5 жыл бұрын
I believe this is just as good as the top systems (Levtec, Rls, TLock). Levtec for sure is our go to system with the new designed unbreakable wedges and the amazing price on bulk clips. And yes, a much better case with Levtec (Dewalt manufactures the case). Bottom line, Levtec for the win, but this system is great also. Some may disagree, but different strokes for different folks...

Never laid a tile in my life lol but I plan to! If you ever want to see some crazy $hit watch how they tile floors in the Philippines: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2qTiXyMfZ2njaM I'm planning to build my house there and I want to do the tiling myself. Do you think a leveling system like this would be good for a novice like me? I've seen some tilers say these are for professionals and the novice should stick to basics but from what I can tell this system will help a novice like me do a professional job! Maybe you could do a couple video specifically for guys like me.. for example, the best size tiles for a novice to get the best results IDK... stuff like that. In any case, I'll keep watching because your videos are great. Thanks!
@LandbergTileTV5 жыл бұрын
Yes, a anti lippage system will definitely help you with installation and the bigger the tile, the better! less grout joints to maintain/clean.
