Are all the beads the same size, circumference, dimensions and brand? Are the delicas different to a seed bead? How long does it take to make earrings from start to finish? Really interesting work. I just do basic edgings and I’m petrified of a peyote stitch. Thanks for sharing and your time.

Yes, the Delica's are very uniform compared to seed beads. Seed beads are rounded. While Delica beads are cylinder like. The earrings I made in this video did not take me long. Maybe 2.5-3hrs from start to finish. I do different kinds of beading; flatwork, loom work, peyote stitch, moccasins, earrings, bracelets, medallions, full regalia and I know basic sewing skills ☺️ Peyote stitch is on of my favorites ❤️

mskll I love peyote stitch too, so much. It just comes naturally for me as well as the designs. But there is a GREAT GREAT VIDEO ON KZbin that totally helps teach you and learn. The lady does it on a Bounty roll tube using yarn and them really huge beads just so you can see well. Try that and play around a bit. Beading should be fun, enjoyable and relaxing. You can always start over if any mistakes. Always bead with nice thoughts and pleasant feelings and good intentions and and it will always turn out!

Would size 11 seed beads work on hoop earrings?
@MelissaChilcotinChar4 жыл бұрын
You could use any beads you like. For me delicas are a little more uniform. Seed beads are more rounded which makes them move around a bit more while you working with them. Give it a try and see if you like them.

Sorry, I don't do patterns for my hoop earrings. It's hard for a lot of people to follow off the graph paper. Best I have is a video to follow.
