He even said in that speech that Iranians and Americans could be brothers if Americans didn't put military bases everywhere around Iran to scare and to control it and he was applauded. He wants to create ties with the rest of the world and to show that Iran isn't a warlike country as the West wants the world to believe. The President is right because Muslims- or a Muslim country -have a duty to defend themselves but they woud be forbidden to begin a war and to fight if they were surrounded by peaceful and disarmed countries.
