I was fortunate enough to get one on an online auction for $250 that looks barely used, has all the attachments in the case and only 3 bobbins had thread. I did refresh the batteries right away. Am really enjoying understanding the machine before I use. Thank you. So thrilled.

Nice videos Glenn, thanks for sharing. It might be harsh to judge someone in a video 5 years ago, but frankly I’m amazed by someone saying to their audience, whom they can never know for sure, that “you cannot do this” or “you will mess it up”. How do you know and how can one say that?!

Hello, i hope you can help me. I bought a Pfaff 1071 . It won't run because one cable thta is connected to the controller board had a broken connector. The moment i touched it it fell apart. So i am looking for a picture or a scheme that shows me right position of the cable. Hopefully i can repair this so it can run again.

Great video series Uncle Creepy! Just found your website while looking for some help with my daughters Pfaff tip attic, model 6122. It seems as though the presser foot isn’t working. Where are you located? I took apart the hand wheel on my pfaff 1171 tiptronic to find a screw that dropped into the unit, and I can't figure out how it goes back together.

Jeannette Jennings you use the stitch width buttons. On a straight stitch, the width buttons become needle positioner.

We probably have a tension unit that will work with the 1471, but this is not a part that normally needs to be replaced. A bad stitch can look like "tension" but can be caused by many other things; dry hook (no oil), over oiling, feed timing, position finger bracket broken, bent or out of position, and several other causes.
