This machine has very clever features. Especially the integrated platform to alternate from the free-arm. However, its weakest design element which is major is the fact that if you do not have the Stitch Selection wheel it is impossible to guess what combination of letters and numbers will produce any stitch. If you don't have that selection wheel, maybe you can find a written table with that information. Or, you have to buy a replica from someone online. Furthermore the controls for the needle bar positioning and buttonhole feature are not intuitive. You really need the instruction book. And those plastic knobs are getting weaker and weaker as the years go by. Easy to break. Nobody is making aftermarket knobs for this. I would prefer a Singer 401 because of a) metal knobs and control levers, b) stitch selection legend under the thread pin door with at least 20 patterns to choose from. No free arm, but that is not a great sacrifice. Otherwise, this 332 is a nice machine. I am glad that you are enjoying yours.. They do look cool.
