I still struggle with these after One year of graduation, it looks easy but unfortunately when it comes to doing it myself on a real patient with all the saliva, blood, soft tissues and limited visibility it's really challenging to do everything perfectly, i wish one day i can reach that level of professionalism

The key is doing a 300 prepa on a typodnt. Getting good doesn’t happen between 9-5pm. Your first hundred you give yourself 2hrs each tooth. Your next 50 1.5 hr Your next 50 1hr Your next 50 30 minutes Your next 50 10 minutes

Not to pick on the prep. It looks great but in real world, its different due to access, bleeding, patient management and other factors.
can you tell me the name of bur which you use first for occlusal cutting

Can you do a metal crown prep?
@vidyabk10836 жыл бұрын
Hi... i recently had a root canal and the teeth was prepared for crown fitting. During the prep there was lot of blood from my gums around that teeth... is that normal?...also its been 2 days and i feel a mild pain the gums... i see little redness and swelling... is that ok?
@CopyCatKashi6 жыл бұрын
Bleeding is normal but as long as it's not still bleeding. Also some pain and discomfort after a root canal is normal. They shaved the enamel off and took out the pulp of your tooth. Lol It'll last about a week or two. Or longer. People heal differently. Take some Motrin or Advil for the pain and swelling :)
@kennethgilbertdds72496 жыл бұрын
So maybe you have a gum problem as well. This may not be entirely related to the dental treatment. Hope that's feeling better now.

bruh, you messed up the proximal teeth with that bur reducing the marginal ridges
@wallyrenne3 жыл бұрын
doubtful. you are looking at a 2d image. nice try though. you do know the 3D model in the beginning is of the actual prep. Also who looks at how to prep a PFM anymore? this is not 1982. I have not done this type of prep since state boards 15 years ago
