How do they get the attacks out so fast?! They combo so easily, when I try it the atatcks come out much slower...noit because of slow input but it just seems to take longer to react ingame.

@@ryankeenan4425 Sorry i know this comment is old but never really understood the falco comparison. He has the same back air, and nair has a similar animation to fox/falco fair but other than that and them both being birds they don't have much in common as far as I can tell.

They need better music and more sound effects so you can actually feel the hits. The emptiness makes the game feel less enticing.

While I agree, those aspects are what makes the game stand out. Tho I will say that whenever I play the game, I never really feel like im taking or dealing damage and killing or being killed. The percentages don't stand out like smash bros does so that doesn't help either

The game has some good music though it depends on the stage, I'm not much of a fan of the harbor stage bgm but Etalus's theme as well as Absa's and Clairen's are awesome.

Joseph Murray Absa, Rano, Maypul, Fortsburn, Etalus, The two abyss maps, the one that is basically all green like the old game boy (always forget about the name) tower of.. whatever Actually I just dont enjoy listening to Zeterburn and Orcane tunes that much, but they fit the game kind of well so I do like em a bit, just not that much. Ps: I forgot about Ori, Wrastor and Claire, those 3 also rock

No, it has a lot of mechanics burrowed from Smash but it is different quite a bit. It's a lot easier to combo and you can't edgehog or grab enemies (though there are a few moves some characters have that are similar to grabs).

Yeah, that's an Etalus problem. I'm really bummed that FS went Eta the whole tournament because Etalus just drastically simplifies the game, made for a less interesting top 8 than usual.

Ryan H well, don't get me wrong, I'm an enormous fan of Melee. That said though, this is very similar in design and mechanics, and in addition it's far more balanced. There's also an additional layer of depth to the competition, so this doesn't make a lot of sense...
