In the second video of the series, we take on the b101 design Lachlan Crossing (inspired by St. Andrews) with Lydia Ko. Lydia Ko has an even better swing timing than Morrikawa which we played with in the previous video. Even with that timing up a bit it will certainly be a struggle to go under par on this tough links design.

I’m still not sure about this game - I’ve seen fairway shots that bounce seemingly 90 degrees left. Simple green taps that roll 50 feet off the green etc

I’d definitely agree they have some things to work out. One of the new features in 23 is golf ball customization and unfortunately some courses such as east lake are not meant for the “default balls” or at least on the normal east lake fast and firm conditions. Some of the top tier balls make those courses playable under the default course conditions. I would recommend trying to dial down the course conditions a bit or switching to one of the top balls like the aviator when playing. I’m hopeful they will adjust the “need” for these settings moving forward. Good thing is we are still in the infancy stage of the game and like I said I’m hopeful these things are being tinkered with by 2k and hb
