PGA TOUR 2K23 MASTER Difficulty Round at Echo Park Golf Club!

Today, we make things a bit harder, as we try MASTER difficulty in a casual round at Echo Park Golf Club, a course I created specifically for PGA Tour 2K23! How does Master difficulty compare to PGA 2K21? Can I go low on my own course?

Andre I got rid of the rumble early on last year and noticed a huge improvement. Playing by feel rather than trying to anticipate the damn vibration was night and day for me. Thanks for the regular videos, looking forward to playing this.

Interesting to see the ball roll back down on yellow slopes. Those courses that are getting ported over might need to soften some of those orange slopes that were designed for 2K21.

I think the best think about archetypes means that there could be differences in courses made and some could be harder or easier depending on how the creator plays

Putting looks a lot tougher in this game. Great playthrough, really like the course. And nice to see a smaller bunker edge, looked cleaner than the 2k21 bunkers.

Do you feel like master on 2k23 is the sweet spot between pro and master that 2k21 could never get. You seemed to enjoy it and have chances to shoot a good score, rather than the unenjoyable stress grind of 2k21 master setting, also course looks nice good job

On ur approach on the 3rd hole u hit ur sand wedge. It carries 109. Had a cross wind. U hit 106% yet still only carried 109

Why iam having so much Trouble whit perfect shots? I calibrated often but on pro difficulty timing, i screw it up

These are the types of rounds I live for lol really like the widened rough percentage lies, adds such a good variable. If you were to change the weather conditions to overcast in the pre-round load up, do you get a thick blanket of cloud like in the video, a proper overcast? Or is overcast conditions when changed pre-game the same as 2k21, more like a light cloud? Also, what is the lowest lofted club you can chip with (5i in 2k21) and what is its max carry distance? Courses will only be available if the designer chooses to bring them over from 2K21 to 2K23.

Why do you never shot shape? So many shots required a nice little cut or draw to assist with distance and lines into greens? A little less margin for error. On your own course? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Andre, thanks for another great vid, you mentioned at the start that you didn't know why PW didn't have a fitting and I'm pretty sure you'll find that only the GW, SW & LW are considered wedges in the game & the PW is part of the irons

Rough has unfortunately never been realistic in this game. Ideally it should kill the balls moment once it hits it on shots, as well as the distance loss. Same concept as the sand. Rough should be very soft equalling no bounce and no roll

There are different types of rough since there are different types of grass, i assume and have noticed that different courses with different grass have very small differences but still have differences which is reflective of real life so i dont know what you mean at all by the ball should stop dead in the rough, if you’ve ever been out to a golf course only really bermuda grass does that and its rare around the world at least compared to how many US courses use it (i could be wrong based off dated data).

@crazycanuck1985 can you do a mouse and keyboard on computer (example , and see how the mouse swing is compared to the controller swing ) is ...... i added you on steam by the way (wileydan)
