This FP works in caree mode. Just make sure to edit flight plan in FMS and cancel IFR from ATC and chose the proper landing runway from ATC.

My biggest complaint is even if I do take all the precautions, follow the exact steps, and wind up with a fully defined flight plan in the avionics, ATC still directs me to the wrong arrival runway / approach procedure. There is a setting in Assistance to tell MSFS ATC to follow the filed flight plan (rather than changing it due to weather, etc.) but this doesn't work and changing the approach procedure and runway in the avionics during flight seems to break the final approach (AP APR mode doesn't fly localizer path to runway) making the landing difficult. I think its going to take a while for Asobo to sort out the raft of bugs and inconsistencies.

Can you also make a video showing on how to prepare the flight plan from scratch by inputing it directly into the garming/fms? every time I do it manually I cannot file the flight plan with atc/request departure etc.

Look at his most recent videos, he has a three parter on the Garmin G1000 and that’s what I used to learn how to build a flight plan in it. Then you can open the EFB and “Load from avionics” and then “File with ATC”.

Usually ATC is good for takeoffs and cruise however ATC for approach and landing is horrendous

It has worked for me in career, but the game will still sometimes try to force tailwind runways on you.

Hi... In EFB, in the second tab from the top in Flight Rules, you have already selected IFR. Was the IFR option selected by itself, or did you select IFR earlier? It never switched to IFR by itself for me, I always have VFR and I have to select IFR myself... These are important activities that are selected by themselves when creating a flight plan or the user switches them themselves. If you have selected the IFR only option, it means that this is not an accurate tutorial.... THX

I use alternate routes programmed through the EFB in career mode often. I do it for AP use, but have noticed it updates the blue line in the pause menu too. What doesn't work about it for you?

Yep, i tried this panner with Fenix A320 or Défaut msfs2024 Inibuild neo V2 A320 but nothing work.
