The PGA TOUR returns to Texas this week for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch, where Jason Day will attempt to defend his title. He claimed victory here in 2010, as well as 2023, and has three top-10s so far this season. The Australian most recently finished T18 at the RBC Heritage. Jordan Spieth will also be in the field, where he’ll be competing on the 14th anniversary of his PGA TOUR debut this week. The American claimed a T9 (2021) and solo second (2022) at TPC Craig Ranch in previous years. Spieth will return to his home state of Texas this week with confidence after finishing T10 at the Valero Texas Open earlier this month. The native Texan will attempt to break a long-standing curse, as no Texan has won this event since Scott Verplank in 2007. Others to look out for this week are Min Woo Lee, Tom Kim, Adam Scott and Jake Knapp

Yeah, I just getting harder and harder to watch just channel surfing got right to the live tour event and did not even watch for one second. There is no reason for me to watch live golf and there really is no reason for me to watch the PGA Tour golf on these secondary events that have absolutely, no significance at all. It’s like a mini brand new players. It’s hard to just shuffling a new crew and expect us to get on board. Somethings gotta change.
