To my understanding, she can apply within Canada(she will be arriving next month on a tourist Visa/ETA) but what if she has to leave the country at some point before the the process is finalized? Hi, Thanks for putting this very informative video, it really helped. I am sponsoring my parents, since they cannot do the online application, therefore I will be representing them. I understand they will have to fill IMM5476 and nominate me (the family member) as their representative. My question is in that case , do I have to create my own IRCC login and submit my parents application or my parents are still required to create their IRCC login and then I will use their login to submit the entire application package. Grateful if you clarify that.

Principal applicant no need to sign any form by hand except IMM 1344 ( means only IMM 1344 needs to sign by hand) Sponsor needs to sign IMM 1344 and 5768 by hand. Principal applicant will sign the application electronically, before submitting it to IRCC

Hi, In your video, time 16.55, where you mention about form IMM 5476 Use of representative. You mentioned that this must be signed by sponsor, Principal applicant and dependent. But I think it must only be signed by two people - Principal applicant and dependent. Sponsor signature is not required. Am I correct or did I miss anything. Thanks for the video. I have some questions: 1) my parents are on visitor visa right now. And from govt site i see that their biometrics are valid til 2028. So, i don’t need to pay the biometrics fees, right? 2) when i applied for the interest to sponsor form, i used to live in a different address. What i understand i must provide proof of my address. Where should i upload. 3) i am from quebec. So for financial part, i need to show one year income, correct?

1. yes, you do not need to pay biometric fees, but to be safe side if you will pay now, you will get a refund if not required by IRCC. 2. You do not need to provide any proof for addresses. 3. Parents and Grandparents is a federal program, so I do not think it is different in Quebec.

@@CanadianCharisma thanks! According to QC PGP instructions, you will see that Sponsors who live in Quebec are not suppose to send their proof of income. The federal agency will receive your application, after that they evaluate that you are eligible to sponsor your parents, they will give you a letter saying that you can move to the second step. On the second step you will send the Kit B to the Quebec govt that will check your financial eligibility (which is "easier" than the federal and it's the Quebec govt who defines ). After that you pass this step, you will receive a CSQ from Quebec (actually your parents ) and them they will be able to apply to the permanent residency under federal laws on a third step. So, on one hand you only need to prove 1 year of income (instead of 3 ) on the other hand your process has 3 steps instead of everything been done on a single one. Basically this is the difference

*Question on "Applicant Processing fee" and "RPRF":* Is it mandatory to pay "Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)" fee of 500$ along with "Sponsorship fee" (75$)+"Principal Applicant Processing fee" (475$) = 1050$ ? IRCC gives the option to pay only "Sponsorship fee" (75$)+"Principal Applicant Processing fee" (475$) = 550$, then why pay 1050$ upfront if there is *NO* downside in paying only 550$ ??? Is there any downside in *NOT* paying 1050$ and paying 550$ ? Once the PR is approved, then will pay RPRF fees. The concern is - what if we fail to get PR (due to Medical or whatever the reason is), then RPRF fees is lost, if it is paid upfront.

The only reason to pay all fees together is, avoiding the delay.IRCC recommends paying it altogether, but you can pay $ 550 for now. You will not lose any money, you will get a refund if No RR is issued after processing the application.

For “Parents and Grandparents PR” you need to submit two applications through the Principal applicant's account: 1. By sponsor: which need to sign by hand “by Sponsor, Principal Applicant, and co-signer (If you have one)” 2. By Principal Applicant: Dad & Mom both will include in one application. One of them will act as Principal applicant and the other as a dependent. This will get filled out and signed electronically by the principal applicant only.

If you are sponsoring both parents, do they both need to submit a CV? The Document Checklist #8 states 'principle applicant and all dependents age 18 years or older'. This makes it sound like just the first applicant, but I don't want my application to be held up if we only submit one CV :(

In IMM 0008, kids under 22 years of age and not married are considered as a dependent . If any dependent is in Canada, add in IMM 0008 and select “ not accompanying to Canada “

Good morning I dont know if you will reply here If you can please its regarding my pArents Pr application which i applied on nov2021 and last month i got email from them asking for Option C 2018 ,2019,2020 which i provided and today i got rejection email saying your 2018 income is $59k while required income is $60k something but i checked with My option C papers even with my accountant and Cra online account . my 2018 income line 150 is $62k What i can do in this case paaji? as its clearly act of carelessness from them ..i already had a seizure before because of stress and now this happened Please guide me what i can do as in their email its written you have right to appeal this decision Please guide me🙏🏻
