There are many people who want to have the wedding in India but I feel they are detered by the following 1. Marriage halls charge by the hour--Rs. 20,000 /per hour. 2. The food vendors are not very hygenic. 3. The Venue in the Hill Stations Do not have facilities like Hotels with more than 100 rooms. 4. Travelling to these places has hardships. Facilities are not good. Wherever the facilities are good like Goa and Rajasthan --Wedding take place and only extremely rich peopl can afford. AFFORDABILITY , COMMUTTING ,FOOD , HYGENE is the main concern. People living in US find it easy to go to Mexico -- resorts etc are affordable. Many people in the US have weddings in Wineries - They have beautiful settings and good food vendors. People living in UK go to Italy or other European Countries. Thanks
