@@truthseeker4491 Bringing Islamic scholars (that's an oxymoron !) together will serve no purpose to arrive at a viable solution. They have a vested interest to protect their viewpoint. If a sizeable number had been objective, by now (>1400 years and counting) perhaps we might have had some reforms. But islam is getting even more virulent and regressive by the day, it's smouldering embers getting fanned by the imams and hate-preachers. Your suggestion is like saying: "let a group of rapist, murderers, thieves & crooks suggest changes to or rewrite the criminal jurisprudence system" ! How can you expect an objective outcome? ps. many of our present lot of lawmaker MPs fit into this classification ! But that is another thread for discussions.

More important than getting back POK is how can islam be neutered and made benign. Abhijit Iyer-Mitra just stated facts, not insights. These can be gained by reading any international newspaper or by watching international news reports. Insights will be what will come out of these happenings - which wasn't really there in this video. He also states, we have nothing like Persepolis which is absolutely bullshit. And Asuras are not "demons" - the word has different meanings in different contexts even in the Vedas. It requires Mimamsa and Nyaya knowledge to actually understand what Asura means in a line in the Veda. It can't be gained from reading English translation. First time viewer might feel orgasmic listening to all this, but as a regular viewer and consumer of all this information, this is just a normal person sharing his opinion on what is going on in ME.

If we compare only pillers of these two era you will see that Achaemenian pillers are made of pieces which was easier to built in other hand Mauryan pillers were monolithic (only one stone or rock was used) which was far more difficult n need fine skills to built n sculptured on it.. I like abhijit but there are a lot of holes in his analysis. Saying Dostam will become ruler of Afghanistan with help of Iran is like saying Yaseen Malik will become ruler of India with help of Pakistan. Than he said ,Turkey, Qatar etc don't need Pakistan. He is grossly misinformed on this account too .As Turkey was the first country to support Pak narrative on Kashmir when even the Saudis were quite due to Indian pressure. The second thing about Qatar is that Pakistan is one of the biggest buyer of its LNG. Third ,and most important thing is all Islamic countries have soft spot for Pakistan . Thats why no matter how much bankrupt they become these countries come forwards and bail out Pakistan. In my view its just because of Pakistan as the only Muslim country to have the nuclear bomb ,all Islamic countries extend there respect to Pakistan. India on other hand fulfills there business needs .It keeps the Shykhs economy oiled and running .
