In case of a 16-23 month masters program, what will be the validity of my PGWP ?. Please elaborate this issue because the IRCC website mentions “Officers may issue 3‑year post-graduation work permits” in case of 16-23 month masters program. Whereas in case of a program longer than 2 years it says “length of the work permit should be 3 years”. My main concern is with the words “may” and “should” mentioned on the website.

Hello. I have just got my PGWP. I studied for 2 years(1year+1year) I was supposed to get a 2 years of PGWP according to the IRCC website. But I got only 1 year of PGWP and the officer asked me to extend PGWP. PGWP is once in a life time. Can I claim about it and how to ask getting new one or how can I get longer PGWP? the reason why I studied 1 more year is having over1 year work permit. Please let me know if you know anything about how to claim and overcome this problem. thank you

Thanks... Great informative video.... i have a very genuine question which other viewers must also be having. If somebody needs 1 year diploma course from canada with 1 year of canadian work experience to clear EE threshold marks. Then how to utilize 1 year of pgwp efficiently. Because pgwp is exactly for 1 year and canadian experience is also required for at least 1 year to gain points in EE. So, if somebody gets a job after 15 or 30 days of starting pgwp then his 1 year of canadian experience would not be complete at the end of pgwp and all his efforts, time and money wasted.... Please throw some light on this scenario. Thanks in advance.
