Rimzler ... come on... I already told you that I spend so much money "because of you" :) now that I have bought 2 copters following your advice... you come up with this great backpack :) very useful and a lot of space if I would buy the backpack model you show here. Price is very reasonable too. Right now I have a great TORVOL FPV backpack - great backpack too, I am very happy with it

Looooool ahaha i feel you! Hope my advice is objective tho and you are satisfied ☺️☺️ What model do you have from torvol? I usually have 2 sizes of backpack on roll: a 20l 20€ Amazon one for light expeditions and economy flying, has been holding up pretty nice over the years and never found something that made me switch, you can see it in almost every travel vlog! And then the 35/40 l size for filmmaking work: I have been rocking a tarion pb 01 for the longest time, quality is fine enough and I like the Pocket arrangement, but after a while it's sweat town and my shoulders ache, same with the iFlight backpack! This one seems more comfy and premium, will try to use it in upcoming work, it also has to be quick to reach things and it seems it can be!

@@Rimzler thank you for your long and informative answer. Be sure that I think that your advice is always objective and presented with charm 😊 because of your advice I own 2 drones/copters with which I am super happy ! I use a Torvol Urban Carrier backpack with 2 separate addable parts if needed. Enough place for my 2 drones, 8 Lipo, and all stuff needed 😊 even a foldable chair fits in easily 👍

Thanks for the review. Looks really decent. It's a bit big for my liking. I'd like a drone backpack, which doesn't look like a drone backpack to avoid unwanted attention. And not too large. Anything springs to Your mind?
@Rimzler

Thank you! There are also smaller sizes of this backpack like 25l Usually I like to hang my drones on the outside of the backpacks, especially the small packs, so I have more room inside, when I feel like not drawing attention I cover with the waterproof coat they provide ahahha As small backpack I found a 20l 20 bucks one that's not the best quality but has been serving me good for years, but I can't track the model cause is discontinued

@@Rimzler just now I use 'nxet' backpack that has no drone symbols (got given it with a drone to repair) and if I want to be super stealth I go with bright orange superdry backpack 😂 this works good but has no dividers and is flimsy so most stuff goes in protective cases. Thanks for the reply

Does the curved frame put any uneven pressure on the laptop behind it when the bag is fully packed?
@Rimzler
@Rimzler 25 күн бұрын
It's mostly around the laptop, I fully packed it and the laptop was quite pressured in there, but at least it has the frame around and is not touching your back Still every backpack I have pressures the laptop when fully packed

Do you prefer the Focux version over the Flex as a FPV pilot? The flex looks much nicer
@Rimzler
@Rimzler Ай бұрын
They asked me which one to review and I went with the focux, for only gear is better as quicker to access the internal pocket, lot of attachment points for drones outside and the big pocket is nice for the gimbals and tripods The flex is nice to carry both gear and clothes for travel, especially with the top expandable part, also has a elastic mesh on the back that looks nice for drones Choice is kinda hard, you have to understand where you will use it, and if you value quickness of gear deployment

@@Rimzler, I’m also trying to decide between the two and had ordered the 40l Flex but after watching this, the Focux has better access (top and side) and the expansion of the kangaroo and companion gives more storage space and not have the goofy 10p expansion Good work!

Great review! Do you if the side access compartment is large enough to be able to access a gripped or pro size body attached to a lens (i.e. Canon R5 with grip and 24-70 f2.8L lens)? Same question for the top load? Is the camera bag deep enough for a gripped body with a L-Bracket attached? Do you know if the beetle camera clip can attach to cameras that have arca-Swiss tripod quick-access plates?
@Rimzler
@Rimzler Ай бұрын
Thank you! Just today I went to work with an a7siii and a Tamron 150/500 attached all in the side pocket, works in the top as well, the internal dividers are velcroed so you can adjust it! A friend of mine showed me a beetle clip, convenient, I thought it was smaller but on the website it looks like it's compatible with arca swiss, will check it out

@@Rimzlerthanks! Would it be possible for you to provide the dimensions of the side access compartment? I'm trying to determine if I can access a gripped camera body (or pro size body like the eos 1DX) with an attached lens using the side access compartment. From what i read on the kickstarter page, the depth of the inner compartment is 180 mm (7 inches), however I'm not sure if the side access compartment is the same size.

@@kss9931, I see your questions being asked in many places but not answered. I don’t have either One Pro packs except the One Mo 2 and other packs and brands. Will take an educated guess here but the Focux may seem to be the most flexible for the equipment you mentioned. The side openings should have at least 170mm in height (if pack front side is laying on floor) and the width or length is wide enough. Same with the top access. Since the dividers are removable, you have more headroom, whereas the Flex has the camera cubes/inserts which is limited to 160mm net height but more importantly, it’s side door is shorter (as seen in videos) then the side door of pack (width or length wise). And for the height, you lose abt 10mm for the extra material of the top and bottom insert frame. Anyhow, PGYTech should answer you with precise measurements on net dimensions. I also would like to know

@kss9931 24 күн бұрын
Thanks for your reply to my questions. I finally did get a reply from pgytech today. The dimensions of the side access are 30cm x 17cm. That's just enough clearance for my R5 with the battery grip and an RRS L-bracket attached. Only decision I have to make now is whether to get the OnePro Focux 25L or 35L bag. The only difference in the dimensions between the two is in the length 565mm vs 515mm (external length), otherwise the width and depth are the same.
@nomad0714
@nomad0714 24 күн бұрын
@@kss9931, yes thanks for the PGYTECH info. Yes the difference between 25 and 35l is height but also consider the torso length adjustment (my torso is long 21” for being 5’8” or 173cm) and the weight, pack + dividers + rain cover + straps + companion sling. I saw a video that says 35l totals to 2.7kg which is heavy, even with a great harness system

Seems like caddx is gonna overtake DJI in the foreseeable future, I hope so! Great seeing a low price entry in the digital systems, will try to get one for review! The system is not as polished as DJI, but they are working so hard I think it's gonna be very good soon! They need to make a good all in one camera, better than o3, then they beating dji
