I imagine that once the esplanade is finished there will also be app based rent a bike areas were you can use an app to rent a bike and travel to any areas of the esplanade or use it as an alternative commute to work to different cities that the esplanade travels and just leave the bike at any rent a bike rack in those places just like in other countries like Ttareungi in Seoul Korea and Docomo bike share in Japan.

it would be good for the philippine government to expropriate at least a 100 meter easement on each side of the river and only preserve and restore any historical buildings built prior to 1941 while converting the easement to parks, walkways and bicycle paths. the wider the easement the better. public restrooms that are regularly maintained open 24/7 should be built next to any fast-food concessionaires whose fees will be used for the upkeep of the clean and air-conditioned restroom facilities. there are many examples of these around Europe, US, and other tourist heavy countries

This is great! Philippines need more public spaces and green spaces. It would also be a great idea to make roads bike friendly and pedestrian friendly. It just sucks that the country takes after the American design which is car centric unlike European cities that are pedestrian friendly.

Just like any major cities in Europe japan and US. Why not remove all concrete fences for all buildings private or public. Construct wider promenades with beautiful pavers like granite or marbles. Having so many sculptures, monuments, plantboxes in open areas. Added beautification is having bldgs regularly painted. Having it, attract people specially tourists. Just like the city of Baku in Azerbaijan. You can leisurely walk the whole day in baku where promenades seem no end in sight. Even some street were converted to promenades having beautiful hardscape and landscape. I consider Baku City of Axerbaijan as the most beautiful city in the world. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Sa Iloilo ganyan na may Esplanade at ganun din ginagawa sa mga Towns ng Iloilo like sa Guimbal ganda na ng promenade nila. pero bawal sana dyan magtinda sa tabi para iwas basura gaya sa Iloilo sa exit lng meron Kainan kaya malinis

Start deploying Ebike, not Etrike patrol cops. Or even for a start just regular patrol bicycle cops and security guards with safety & personnel to keep the place clean. Only allow walking, regular bicycles with a speed limits. Great job 👏!

But, I hope the fact finding committee relieves those bad apples cops, from to bottom, take away their pensions, their license to carry, confiscate all their assets, and imprison them all. The PNP is tainted enough, Duterte gave them a chance but with CoVid and a Duterte leaving office. The present administration is weak, BBM is a weak leader. All talk and no do. And now has the controversial use of the Presidential Helicopters just to watch a concert. I bet it was his wife’s and younger congressman’s son that insisted it. Weak president and no Integrity & Professionalism in his Presidency. Honesty, Integrity, & Professionalism has left the building and it’s people of the Philippines. What a country, back to the old ways of Oligarchs.

@@paranoya733 No need for extra cops. The cops on duty are the ones on patrol. Give them the tools, it’s just a bike. Plus it’ll keep those chubby ones in shape. Doesn’t need all that money to operate a bike patrol. I was former LEO, I know & have experience in budgets and operational matters. Running a car with 4 cops inside vice two on stand by and the other two on either foot patrol or bike patrol.

@@tonyfalcon8041 The truth hurts, go and look at the site right now theres only one machine doing the pillars. to be able to finish it in 3 years i think they should hurry it up and add more men and machines cause 25 km x 2 cause both sides of the river they are going to do it. hope they will finish it in 3 years good luck.
