We Filipinos are a happy-go-lucky people who just want to work hard and enjoy life. We don't have any urges of making war to conquer any other lands; we just want what is rightfully ours. But if anyone will forcefully take our lands and treat us with disrespect, our collective history will show that we will fight back, no matter what the odds are. I'm personally grateful for all the help coming, and the future help that will come from other friendly countries. We truly need their help to update our defense capabilities because making war... Or defending against a foreign oppressor... is the last thing we think of in our daily lives. What we want is for different countries to come over and have a good time with us in our beautiful islands and enjoy our festive culture. That is essentially what we Filipinos are. This is something that the whole world should understand... And this is why it is very frustrating (and stupid, honestly) if another country is aggressive towards us. Philippines must now negotiate with allies to do 6 month rotation by pair to help Philippines in patrolling the eez and territorial waters INCLUDING the resupply missions. If the government can do it Filipinos will support 100%. This is my humble suggestion amid the elevated bullying tactics of china. We need our allies to help us defend our territory in real time situation. The joint patrol that were implemented did not help because it was once every 6 months. We need allies year round to go along with our pcg and navy ships. A rotational schedule for 6 months in a row and by pair like US and Canada, US and Japan, US and Australia, US and India, US and New Zealand, US and SoKor, US and France, US and UK, US and Israel, US and Spain, US and Sweden. This can be done hecause NATO natiins are more than willing to help the Philippines to defend our territory. All the Philippine government have to do is talk to those countries leaders. Ink defense/Security deals with them.
