Phalaenopsis orchid care for beginners | How to get your orchids to rebloom

Phalaenopsis orchids were such a mystery to me growing up, but I feel like I have finally cracked the code and wanna share! There are lots of conflicting messaging floating around about this plant but this is how I have gotten reblooms. If you try it out, I'd love to know how it works out for you!

The orchid with the surprise spike has produced keikis, that’s why the spike is so short. But I highly recommend that you look into “novelty” phalaenopsis from good orchid breeders like Krull-Smith or Bredren Orchids. They’re my absolute favorite orchids as a lot of them are scented and they will rebloom on the same spike for many years and don’t need a drop in temperature.
