Croatia Goth Punk and Goth Rock-Darkwave band formed in 1988 on the ashes of Zagreb late 80's Punk scene.This is their song from second demo single recorded in early 1989.

It's unbelievable to see how popular some of these Yugoslav post-punk songs have become. This, for example, had almost no views when I first found it as a teen and now, it's got almost half a million views. I think that Dronemf has singlehandedly saved much of the Yugo post-punk scene from oblivion.

But for every track that withstands or crushes the test of time, there's fifty that are the same cookie-cutter, derivative goth/industrial as we had in the West, and ten that just slap a drum kit and moody vocals onto generic Slavic folk songs. Don't be so pretentious.

You can find vampiric tales all over the Balkans though from Bulgaria to Croatia (on the Istrian peninsula, Jure Grando). Tbf Jure Grando was born earlier than Sava Savanovic, but the Serbs were first with the whole vampirism scheme, which is why the word derived from them.
