This is a very messy clear but it's mostly to show off the mode anyway.
It's worth noting that this was done in version 1.0. A version 1.1 has since been released.
So yeah the main difference with Standard is that in the other modes you get hypers and suicide bullets. On Unlimited there are also no unseen stages and you are forced to choose stage 4B.
The scoring system is about the same as it is in Standard: turn points into gold by not shooting to raise the multiplier and collect points. Except now when you reach a 999x multiplier you get a hyper. During a hyper enemies spawn suicide bullets and you get double the amount of point items. These "hyperpoints" are also kinda special as collecting them gives you a second of invulnerability. It's very scary and risky to abuse this feature.
You can also cancel the hyper. You want to do this when there are a ton of suicide bullets as you then convert them into hyperpoints. Cracking up the rank is a necessity for doing this.
The RED gauge at the top is pretty much the same as it is in Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu Black Label. The higher it is the higher the rank gets. It raises while collecting point items and lowers during bombs and while collecting gold.
Max Rank is extremely terrifying.
Furthermore there are gauges in the bottom left. The purple one raises with point items collected and grants you an extra life if it's full. The yellow bar raises with grazing. Filling it up during stages gives you a point explosion and during nonspells it gives you a gold explosion. It doesn't do anything during spellcards. Filling up the life and bomb bars also gives you a screen clear as well as activating and canceling a hyper.
You don't get to see it in the video but those suns will kill you even if you bomb. Her second card pulls you in and Komachi's beam slows you down.
