Wow such an premium case and magnificent build! I've always loved the previous designs of 'Enthoo Evolv' by Phantek, and in this new X series put so many functional features into it. All the 'Evolv" series were meant for water cooling, and you did a awesome job with the Evolv X. And love how Phanteks incorporated the new RGB lighting with the cases very clean lines. I like the Chrome Black/Gray theme you got going, and especially love that Nikel CPu Block, Im about to install my All Nikel plated Cpu block from EK' as an replacement for my Ek Predator 360 Aio, I think Nikel cpu blocks look very premium and clean. Great job GGF, love watching your build videos especially in 4k! Keep it up PlZ!!

Beautiful build, man. I've been in the market for a case for my upcoming Threadripper build, and currently have the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX. Between this video and the timelapse build in the Lian-Li PC-O11 Dynamic, you've not only given me a difficult choice, but you've gained a new subscriber. Keep up the good work and keep shooting some sexy B-Roll.

know exactly where you are coming from but this is something I would do (with the 9 drives). My previous build i filled all hdd bays. For me if i had the cash for this i'd personally sli that thing up and drop the raid card down a slot but hey that's me. Think it was more to fill slots rather than raw hdd space.

@dethronermods44565 жыл бұрын
What would add to that PC is a rear 120 mm fan, even though the 3 on the top are pulling out it would help to keep it with better temps for the motherboard. If the 360 mm at the front are pulling hot air coming from the radiator, the 3 on the top will receive hot air, so... I believe to add one at the end it would help more the inside air flow and temperatures as well... but that is just my opinion.... nice work!!!!

FYI, NoiseBlocker doesn't recommend using eLoop fans in the "pull" position. It adds additional noise unless using a shroud to provide more space.

Sorry if this is a stupid question - Did you really install that many SSDs or did you put them there just to demonstrate how many the case could accommodate? I can understand installing 2, 1 for OS, another for a few favorite resource demanding games, but 9? That's very expensive, small increments of storage. Why not just a couple of 12tb HDDs instead? Is there a reason someone would want so many?

Sweet video! I'm thinking of a similar configuration in the same case, only with the bottom drive cage intact to use 3.5" HDD (build is expensive enough without spending more on SSD drives for storage). Looks like I'll have to use a 240 mm rad in the front to keep the HDD cage.

New build... just starting... Asus Maximus Hero XI MB, 9900K CPU, EK custom water CPU soft-tube loop w/ pump/res one unit, 40mm 360 radiator 3 fans, and block, EVGA 2080ti FTW3 Ultra, all in the Phanteks Evolv X case... I just don't see how my pump/res is going to fit in the case...no place for it to mount w/ bracket. The back wall of case (side where MB mounted) to the right are all those plastic sliders to help hide cable clutter... cannot attach bracket/pump/res there. And the PS shroud runs the length of the case on the bottom just about all the way across left to right... and bracket cannot attach there as well.... What do I do.... help me work this out please, in detail...
@brianboucher42486 жыл бұрын
Ok, think I got it... Case front > 2 140mm fans intake pushing thru 360 radiator, 3 120mm fans exhausting air out top of case, and one 140mm fan blowing out the back of case. EK D5 pump/res, block, and rad on the way...
