Bedankt voor je reaktie....nu begrijp ik waarom ik niet harder kon..Deck (bodemplaat) compleet verot...dik 200 kilo rot hout er uit gehaald..Ben nu aan het opbouwen maar kan geen foto's vinden van een Phantom binnenkant. Het dek is ooit vervangen maar niet op de orginele manier

You trim the engine out far too much and apply maximum revs. Prop slips, doesn’t grip, engine screams, doesn’t pull in enough water due to angle of engine, then overheats or goes bang!

Herr bananhjärna Smith I doubt that engine will last very long! It’s running at probably above its max rpm while the prop cavitates / slips and won’t be cooling correctly. Your call - if you have deep pockets, go for it.

The trim is way to far back making the nose bounce up and down and subsequently the boat is unstable. That is an accident waiting to happen.

Ik heb een Phantom 21 met een 2 takt 115 HP en haal net de 80 KLM/h. Echt niet dat deze boot 155 KLm/h haald..wel een een leuk filmpje overgens.

Mijn kajuitbootje met 115 yamaha 2 takt haalt al 75. Ben benieuwd wat mijn phantom met 275 Verado straks gaat doen en tot welke pitch ik kan gaan. Helaas nog veel werk

Yes it will , pick ups are located on the bottom of gear set enabling water cooling at most extreme trim levels , it’s a F1 derived engine . Purpose built , yes it lasts . See Monty Racing

The engine is too low and the trim is way too high, never heard so much cavitation in my life. Good way to have an accident and/or break you transom though.

Overtrimming and Ventilating that poor looper.... learn the difference between Ventilation and cavitation guys, Google it. Smh.
