Back in 1989, this Phantom 25 built by Steve BAKER running a pair of 225GT Johnson limited edition , Pilot = Jo Tribolo. Race in south coast of France. Engines are Johnson 225GT Limited edition .

try ''scream and fly'' on facebook, there is some guy who have worked for second effort and let you know what's remain around, it's going to be very difficult ton complete an engine, I've a cowling but that's all.

I've asked the question to the guys racing in this period, they have told me less than this, something around 90mph+ is more realistic for the black P25 2 x200GT, I remember the Piranha carrera 2.4 EFI was checked at 82mph helicopter speedo

It's not a problem to have two different type of motors? Or they 're tune to give same torque and power? Like exactly the same?

Power head are the same, just the cowlings are different, because one was lost in the previous race

it's a Phantom 25, phantom boats from Uk (doesn't exist anymore, except old ones and copies, 25 is the overall lenght in feet, beam is in the 6feet or close to.

Hum, unless you're a good experimented diver, the position is close to CAPRAIA island in Mediteranean Sea, laying on the bottom of the sea for 32 years now, this P25 sank the year after this race, fitted with a pair of 2.4 efi Mercury. But if you're only after the hull shape, contact Chaudron powerboat in Malta, they'll be able to make you a similar boat.

I know this is an old post and all, but why did it sink? I have a p21 that was a demoboat in 86/88 w 2x200 Yamaha v6’s. And im curious to bringing this back to former glory 🕺🏽.. cheers

The best this boas did light in fuel on a river was around 100mph with tall propellers, but in offshore configuration around 90+ mph
