Great demonstration, this helped me make my decision. I’m a home inspector and am looking to use this to inspect my roofs. I need all the protection I can get. I do worry that it may not work well on detecting dark colored shingles though

Hey could you do an chart with the 5 sensors , like tree, front, side rigth, side left, backwards and down, lake front, side rigth, side left, backwards and down, and other obstacle?
@c0ntrolr0d408 жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks for the video. Have you tested it on Return to Home to fly around obstacles? Or what it does when flying via Way Points? I'd love to see how the drone preforms flying thru a forest.
@kenda9938 жыл бұрын
It uses all of the sensors in tripod mode ,beginner mode, tap flay and active track In tap fly and active track it will not show the sides on but you can see them flashing and it will stop.

Can you use active track in tripod mode?
@LukeMaximoBell18 жыл бұрын
Also, why is there no "beginner" mode with full range. What if we want to fly at the max speed to use all sensors, but want to fly far away. That would be really nice. Tripod mode is really cool, but a bit slow for a lot of things.
@quadcopterland17688 жыл бұрын
Yes you can, but flight is slow. Very hard to get fast moving shots.

Does POI work WITHOUT side avoidance?
@filipstevens62638 жыл бұрын
awesome , so the phantom 4 pro can follow me in a old village and not hit the walls from houses while following ?
@quadcopterland17688 жыл бұрын
That is correct, only in tripod mode. It does fly slow in that mode.

nice test! it's was really hard to listen to you because of the buzzing noise of the phantom 4! but I get it hehe. do you know if the bottom sensors (vision sensor) also active in normal mode? also I wonder if we can minimize the beeping sounds on the app?

It helps prevent landing on uneven surfaces like water or heavy grass.

Hi i have the opportunity to pick up a used P4 with second battery for US $950 only 5 months old or should i buy the P4P is the difference in the new model and the old model that significant to pay nearly double advice would be appreciated as it my first drone purchase
@quadcopterland17688 жыл бұрын
Sorry so late, I missed you comment by mistake. I think the P4 is just as good in many ways. The obstacle avoidance is a plus, but it is far from what they advertise. I have had dozen of close calls because sensors did not read obstacles. If you fly responsibly, you really don't need obstacle avoidance. I know I don't. I fly my Inspire 1 more than anything else I own.
@flymasterA8 жыл бұрын
New to drones- just got mine. From what I've read, the sensors are also turned off it you have the guards in place. How does it know? Maybe the sensors need to be turned off. I also can't get my guards to drop all the way down into the slots. Am I doing something wrong?
@flymasterA8 жыл бұрын
Also, with the range extenders, you should be flying out of visual sight, so the mode should be sensors on. Correct?
@quadcopterland17688 жыл бұрын
Only in beginner and p-mode.

Thanks for your videos. subscribed. I just got my p4p have not flown yet but when I power up inside(in beg mode) I can see front and rear sensors working. Will the sides not work till your actually flying? It's just sitting on my counter. When I move around I can see the front and rear picking up stuff. Wind is 45mph or I would try. Thanks for your help!

Did you see my question above? Can you tell if side is working before you fly? Front and rear working but no sides. Thanks again!
@quadcopterland17687 жыл бұрын
Casey VanSanten The sides only work in beginner and Tripod modes. Get her in the air and walk around her while hovering and she should beep on all for sides in those modes, only front and read with regular mode. none in sport mode.
