enjoy your videos on the phantom 4. could you show more of the dji app when you are in different modes. seeing the app and being able to back up the video to make sure i understand what you are doing in the app helps me learn the app better. It may be very basic to others but I want to learn correctly. I am showing my grandchildren how to properly fly the drone and seeing the app on the screen is a big help.

I have watched many video reviews on the P 4 and also the x star premium, I was kinda tore between which I wanted the most. It wasn't till I saw what you have to do to update the x star that I decided the P 4 is a much better choice. I can say without a doubt your videos are by far the best videos going. Most informative and no BS. Thanks.
@BillNicholsTV8 жыл бұрын
You have to update the P4 just as well - both companies release updates on a regular basis - thanks for watching!
@joecat1018 жыл бұрын
I understand both have updates but on the x star you have to take the memory card out of the drone and put it in your computer to download updates than put it back in the drone to update the drone than if you have more than one battery you have to take the card back out, put it back in your computer and rename the downloaded update file than put it back in the drone to update each battery. The P 4 is infinitely easier, that's what I meant . Also I don't think the x star has anything like course lock intelligent flight mode.
@stephenhillyard84078 жыл бұрын
X star premium does have IOC, course lock. It is real easy to use. There is a switch on the side of the controller that you set after you have the direction of flight you want to go. You don't have to do it in the app.

Very helpful video, as usual - thanks, Bill. I'm a happy subscriber! I realised after my fourth flight with the P4 that I should have used Course Lock - I had flipped the gimbal down in flight for a classic "aerial view", then became disoriented. In effect I had to switch to Instrument Flight - never my strong point. CourseLock would have let me avoid an embarrassingly erratic return and landing - I think. I'll try it tomorrow if the UK weather improves...
