PHANTOM F12 gets SMART CARB! SC2

I have always wanted to test out a smart carb or lectron on one of my bikes and today we got to do that. We threw a SC2 26mm on the malagutti phantom f12 and i was pretty impressed! No more jets babyyyy

Killer video! Can't imagine Brandon got his carb back. Couple of things real quick if we may - at 3:56 it looks like the cable nib isn't retracted up and into place fully in the slide. Looks to be hanging out or stuck. Could be the reason for the lack of slack and the hangup plus we don't want it accidentally coming free while you're ripping. Any cable setup that works with the PWK of similar size works with the SC2. Also as you go remember that the adjustments of the SmartCarb only affect the bottom end. hey man, i would totally suggest a tommaselli quickgas throttletube. the quickgas is very responsive, so you can rip it around way faster, as you did in the beginning of the video but like 3x faster

So you now own a SC, you should be able to Chuck it onto which ever scoot you feel like riding… great investment and it will hold good value should you ever sell it. The wide ass roads always play tricks with my mind - scoots just don’t get down em quick enough on camera but I know that one is flying! What’s happening with the RC1 Malossi? You should try the smart carb on that!!!

Hey love the vids. I have a Genuine Buddy 50 and want to upgrade it and have run 50 to 60mph. I did upgrade the the CVT kit with Naruku performance set up it takes of a little quicker but takes long to get to speed and slows down on hills. Any suggestions would help.

Do you have an airjet in the CP21 carburetor? Works much better with a 0.6mm airjet than having it plugged.

wait what a malaguti f12 aka the shrimp in the US? this is an import right? i believe EPA regs didnt permit 2 strokes also a smart carb tf this is new. I have been out of the 50cc game too long

MOPBOYZ snappy. Easy to fine tune. It is the only carb I have had on this build but a lot easier out of the box than any other carb I've used. Did not have to pull it off several times to swap jets and needles and no flat spots

Bro if u had used the 21 cp with the airbox it’s normal that the performances sucks. From 19mm carbs u need an open filter. I’m from italy and here we tuning scooters a lot. Don’t buy the smart carb just buy a 24 pwk polini and a polini filter. Guarantee u that the scooter after this tuning goes

Yes you can, though a positive result is heavily dependent on proper fitment. Nothing yet for 400cc+, but for the smaller thumpers we have options. Reach out!
