That Minarelli AC engine sounds mean and happy! I loved my Malaguti F15. Always wanted a F12 but never got to it. Now i'm into japanese and korean bikes more. About the shocks on the F12 just rebuild them and put a spacer block behind the spring and a bit more oil in then stock. I did the same on my F15, you lose a tiny bit of travel when bottoming out but it feels so good. You will love it.

Mark the throttle grip at closed position at quarter at half at 3/4 throttle and at full throttle then go out and plug chop at each of these positions then you can get the carb spot on … pilot ,needle,slide and main jet …. Then you can jet it perfectly once that’s done so the transmission can be tuned coz I think your getting a lot of mixed results due to it not being set up right … love the content and your very competent so with in no time you will see massive gains in that phantom

Bro any tip on Yamaha Jog, same engine - stock, 14mm mikuni. When 1/3 throttle pulls standy and ok up to 35 miles, but when full throttle it dies and burps untill i take of the throttle. carb tuning makes it only worse

That cp carb is poo mate … here in the uk we use a pwk or phbg … that is accelerating very flat on the mph … mine would savagely accelerate off the clock no lag no drop in rpm nothing and would pull off the clock and that front wheel would be impossible to keep down … also a quarter turn throttle is needed to open that slide up quick … what reeds are you using …
