Today I rode for a very long time on a 8 and in reality it is only enough for 13 maximum 15 miles, but not as they say 28 miles

I agree too I can’t seem to find or fix it in the box it says up to 28miles but in the settings of the app it says 15 miles.

Its supposed to only work when you do a running start and wont just turn on if you press the throttle

That's actually not completely true. It turns out, I had to connect to this scooter through bluebooth on my phone and unlock it. Very neat security feature! That being said, it does have options for running start and regular start!

I think it theoretically maintains speed without you needing to use the accelerator. I never got it to work.

100% agree. I had an electric bike with a removable battery. It makes storage and charging more flexible and convenient (I have to awkwardly place scooter near outlet in cramped space...)

You can change the mode to zero-start. That't why you should read the manual first 😂
