shistar That is because the car does come off the track. Only about a centimeter before the up stop wheels catch you.

I just went on this ride 3 times in a row yesterday. Once I was sitting right in front of a girl who was screaming the whole time. I couldn't hear anything for a solid 5 seconds after I got off. Also, I was riding with my friend once and his face was like this the whole time: 😬

How are you guys allowed a camera on the ride? They don't allow you to have any belongings on the ride and how do you even hold that thing?

kathy davis Hi Kathy! We have installed camera mounts on the coaster cars for a GoPro and our maintenance teams have been trained to safely install them for videos like this. But you are correct, riders are not permitted to bring cameras or other potentially dangerous items on the Phantom or other rides.

PRO TIP: Go on a weekday, lines are significantly shorter on days mon-thurs

Trusty McCoolguy especially when schools are still in, when you get out of school on a weekday, go to Kennywood because chances are, no one will be there

Kennywood, I know your getting Steel Curtain, but Phantom looks so old compared to Steel Curtain, you should get Phantom a refurb and repaint it, give it a new station, give it a new audio Sam was announcements, maybe add the tunnel the 2nd time going under ThunderBolt Witt the lights and fog like you were gonna before. It look good if you did that all, you should also add the TVs back in que but that’s optional
