1000%. I mean, don't get me wrong. Frances McDormand was fabulous in Three Billboards and the rest of the nominees (even Meryl Streep in The Post, who I think _can be_ very overrated for certain performances) were terrific too, but my money and final vote would have been Ms. Krieps taking home the Oscar (if she even got the _nomination_ for Best Actress in the end, that is).

Brilliant film and she delivered a fantastic performance. Shame all the questions were about Daniel-Day Lewis. If you're bringing an actor on a show then don't undermine their contribution and just ask about the other people involved in the project.

I just hope she gets a starring role soon, and not some kind of supporting actor part. I expect she's getting a lot of offers right now, and surely she realizes how important her next part is. Maybe if she's friends with Daniel now, she can ask his opinion, since he's a master at choosing parts (for himself, at least). He'd love to see her become a star, that I'm sure of. If she does, and I think she will, people will be pointing back to Phantom Thread a lot.
