@@shitalawatade6039 start by using 2-3 times in a week, if sensitive and acne prone I would recommend it as a spot treatment over moisturizer. After got used to it for a while then take pea size tret mix it with moisturizer and apply to face after using serums or lite base moisturizer. After getting used to it and your skin can handle it then use without base moisturizer or you can use a sandwich method where you apply moisturizer first then pea size tret and moisturizer again. I would personally recommend using peptide serums as a base and ceramide moisturizers on top or for sandwich . I would highly recommend you to avoid fragrance and other actives in skincare just in case of any other bad reaction as the tret itself is extremely powerful enough to wreck your skin. And I would recommend using calming products during night and also in the morning and sunscreen is a must. Another note start using 2-3 times a week I would recommend this for 3-4 months or until your skin tolerate it. Later increase it for 4-5 times and later regularly. After using regularly for 6 months or so I personally mix it with my moisturizer and use it as a eye cream. Later sandwich around the eye area and normally. This may dry out the eye area so use some moisturising serums or creams around the eyes as well.

If you think of using tretinoin so avoid other acids like abh, bha, just use normal hydrating serum, toner and moisture and no acne facewash, only gentle facewash without exfoliating ingredients. Also tretinoin can purge for 3-4 weeks, based on skin type. If it last long then 4 or 3 weeks, you might be using too much or use everyday. Avoid everyday and you only need pee size. Don't forget your sunscreen

Be careful with Tretin on the neck as it causes dryness and irritation. Tretin is not recommended to be used there even at 0.025% as the skin is thinner. Try retinol or another milder formula.

Pea size amount is recommended because there is only enough your face can take from a product and that is the pea size amount. Rest of the product if you apply is getting wasted. So you can apply little bit more also, no need to fear. Just that you will be wasting product. But don't be scared won't harm your skin. Also you can use tretenoin on your eye area. Just that do the sandwich method, but also dilute the tretenoin cream with some moisturizer. Best moisturiser for me is barrier relief formula x. Bestest. Tretenoin user since I was 21, a friend recommended for acne. Just that i stopped using it after sometime when my acne healed. Biggest mistake lol. But you don't do that. Restarted it again and my acne is healed and i know within 3 months my skin would be better.

Hi. Dermatologist here. Tretinoin is a schedule H drug in India and should only be used under doctor's prescription. It do wonders for skin but it comes with a lot of irritation. Tretinoin in the short term is best, but if you're looking for long term anti aging without any irritation, retinol is the way to go. Retinol is gentle on skin as compared to tretinoin, but has same effects in the long run (2 years+). The best part, it is available over the counter. Ask your derma for retinol suggestions according to your skin type.

If it's hormonal, then reduce sugar and dairy intake. Besides that incorporate Exercise in your lifestyle. If it is a serious situation, kindly visit a dermatologist for detailed solution. You also need to keep moisturising. Skip on other acids, skip BP etc. And reapplying sunscreen. Apart from that, you must use a very little amount of glycolic acid on brown skin. Less is more.

HI DIDI, I HAVE AN URGENT REQUEST, could you please tell me a solution to this problem of dry skin. i never had this problem before but this year after I went to Dehradun, this problem began. i started having very dry skin, basically near my mouth area. after a week or so it also spread to my face, with my eyelids, cheek, jawline area becoming dry and flaky. i did go to the dermat because of this and he suggested me CIPLA EXCELA MOSTURISER. and it worked wonders for err..... 6 months, and after this now im experiencing this once again. as i infered from your videos you too have dry skin so could you possibly have a moisturizer or something for this. it gets really dry and flaky near my nose and mouth area especially. hoping for your response.

Hey. When it comes to Azelaic acid, 10% is ideal. Percentages above 10 are prescription strength and should ideally only be used on a doctor's recommendation as it can cause side effects like drying. If 10% works well for you, you should continue with it.
