Friability Calculations | How To Calculate Tablet Friability

The tablet friability test is most frequently performed in process test which is done by a Quality assurance officer.To calculate Friability of tablet, the formula used is given as below
Initial weight of tablets - Final Weight of tablets×100
Initial weight of tablets is the weight of tablets before friability test & final weight of tablets is the weight after Friability test.
If our results are not more than 1% then Friability test is pass mean acceptance criteria of Friability Test is not more than 1%.
