Hey Tim, Well, I have to say you're the reason I've put down my drum sticks and picked up my guitars again! At 53, in Oklahoma, I have been "re-inspired" by your playing. Your absolute perfectionism(is that a word?), modesty, direction, creativity, patience in teaching, and either God given or earned talent has really given me something to look forward to every day. Cant wait to get home from work, grab my tele and put on a Tim Pierce video. I only wish this would've been available when I was younger! Thanks so much for all you do, Greg

I am constantly pleased by two things about your videos. The first is that you take the time and interest to produce them. The second is that you take the time to explain and show what you are doing in a way that allows me to follow along. This video adds a third element to my appreciation - that you are breaking out into a style of song that I wouldn't have predicted you would teach. No need to enter me into the contest, since I have enough equipment. Someone else definitely needs it more than me. At my stage, it is the archer, not the bow. Cheers.
Tim, I enjoy watching your videos because you show joy and passion in every one of them. I most get a kick out of watching your studio improvisations and the surprise and amazement that shows on your face when something totally unexpected comes out or an idea comes together. It's surprising to see how surprised you are given your talent. Thanks for doing what you're doing.

Hey Tim. Thank you so much for being such an excellent teacher. It's nice to see you branching out to different genres and adding the 'ol Tim Pierce flair to them. The techniques you showcase are truly helpful in gathering ideas for how to approach not only this song but many others like it. Lately I've been getting into a lot more music theory, structure of: scales, notes, special chords, etc. I've found your videos (not just this one but many other like those done with Marty & Brett) to be an integral part of my growth as a musician and not just a guitar player. Your fluid understanding of the instrument and composition is helping me to bridge the pieces of the playing puzzle much more quickly. I can't thank you enough for all the tuition you've given us Tim! My only regret is that I'm not out further West to possible partake in your tutelage in person. Once again, thank you & excellent video - I look forward to more like it!
