1:29 First minute I was anxious thinking he’d start talking. After that, I realized he wasn’t going to do that to us & relaxed thinking, “wow, this MFr kinda knows what he’s doing.” Then, the feeling was gone. :-D

I was a freshman in high school in 1982 - My friend and I had just started to learn guitar and Tim was a hero of ours.....So this yr. I decided to read his discography... after scrolling down for 1 mile, I still had half way to go. This guys is an AMERICAN musical treasure. Thanks Tim for the music. I appreciate you!

Those are great guitars for the price for sure. I'm going to buy one but can't make my mind up which one but the Q-7 looks very interesting. I wish he would do a 339 because I have been wanted a dc semi hollow for awhile but not 335 size. 339 area.

One thing that doesn’t get discussed enough with this (or any other great attenuation device) is that you cannot judge it on how it sounds attenuated through the cab, in the room. As Tim demonstrates here, when the speaker is mic’d and then sent through the PA or to recording device, THAT’S where this unit really excels! When you first use an attenuator just for practicing or playing through the cab, it sounds very weird and wrong. And it should. But through microphone, with the preamp level compensated, it sounds like 95% the same through the PA as it would un-attenuated. I had this experience, where I was really disappointed with how the attenuated amp sounded just standing in front of the cab while playing around. Just remember that its strength is close mic’ing, and send through PA/recorder.

Tim, I could not attend the live session. I would like you extend my sincere thanks and gratitude for all you do. You are one amazing person and guitar virtuoso. Watching you (smiling) the entire time of the video is motivation to cause one to devote time to practice guitar. I pray you and yours are safe and well and continue to not be affected by the wild fires.

Ritchie Blackmore IMHO is the greatest guitar player of the era. Thats not saying anything negative about any other, they were all great and I was fortunate enough to be a teen through the 70s. Now Lazy has always been my favorite DP song, it and a close second being sweet child in time. Ritchie through his guitar work on lazy though proved he's a rock god and a master.

Thanks for helping me feel better about my limited playing techniques. After years of doing my other hobbies I’ve broken my wrists multiple times and developed nerve damage. It’s affected my ability to play guitar how I used to but I still love to write music and jam

Hi Tim, just discovered your channel and subbed. I've not had a chance to completely explore your channel because i discovered it yesterday but I'm a life long fan of Hendrix and I am also a guitar player since 1990. If you haven't already, can you talk about the Jimi Hendrix Blues album. Man I really dig that one and id love to hear your take on it. Thank you.
