Loved the documentary! I’m not really into gospel music or religion, but all of the voices touched me! Loved it! Wish Pharrell would’ve used his natural voice rather than voice tune, but the choir was on fire!!! Thanks for giving all those people the opportunity to sing, revive their spirit and feel alive! This is a good thing!!

Watch the netflix series Voices Of Fire and then come back to this... yes Pharrell has overdone it with the autotune... but he does have a great natural voice and had great intentions with forming this church chior. I definitely reccomend watching the series though... one of the singers is a 15 year old girl who was born with one ear and has 50% of her hearing because of it... one of the guys was legit dead but the paramedics managed to restart hi heart but when ho woke from his coma he was paralyzed from the neck down and told he would never walk again... many of the members of the chior truly believe in god and thank him for giving them this opportunity to share their experiences with others. (This is coming from someone who doesn't really have any set religeon)

Nah, pharrells uncle who is a pastor backbhis hometown. Pharrell grew up in the church around music. Hampton Roads has alot of great musicians, but most aren't out there. Pharrell, Missy, Timbaland, the clipse and Nicole Wray are the major artist out of the area. My hometown Virginia Beach is the nest kept secret with much talent. Most of us just rather share are gift and sing to the lord and not get caught up in the crazy industry.
