You've created a lot of great stuff here, a lot... as a beginner to all this proffie stuff, the first questions that come to mind are basically where to start? Are there tutorials for the most up-to-date iterations of the operating system, and are the older OS's still supported/usable for creating blade styles?

Start here, be sure to read everything. www.fett263.com/updating-your-proffieboard.html The OS is backwards compatible, so older styles are supported but often lack many of the new features and if it's an older syntax it will waste memory, thereby limiting how much you can fit on the board. I typically recommend generating updated styles from my library as you move to new OS versions, but if you run older styles, they will still work.

@Fett263 I don't know if this is something that would be OS wide, but the ability to have motion controls on or off by profile would be great. I love twist on and off, but it conflicts with the special abilities. So only having it on profiles without special abilities would be really cool.

I don't know the technical terms...but the config is basically written as firmware run directly from the proffie board along with all of the core functions of the proffie os. I may have described it a little wrong but basically it's not treated as a file. It's basically hard coded with everything else that gets flashed.

Any ETA on when patreon users might see tutorials? Ive seen tutorials for the os6 and before but from what i gather, os7 will be quite different.

OS6 and OS7 syntax are the same, OS7 just added a lot of new functions to enable all of the advanced styles and features. As I get time, I am putting together support videos to go with the new features on the library like the one linked in the description of this video. What specifically are you looking for?

@@4str0m3ch yeah, I'm sure font makers and others will start creating now that all of these new capabilities are available. There's even more customization available on the sound side of Proffieboard with OS7 so they can get really creative.

The most complete and best board, a wonderful potential, but a really pain in the #€@ to program, I have 3 v2.2 installed but too much headhache when you want to go to one button config, so I gave up wiring in neopixel pcb, and finally put in RGB. I'm not this good for these awesome boards despite all the good tutos about it. After hundreds of hours, I'm sadly gonna move to CF or these easy cheap chinese neao...whatever they are called.
