yes but they're totally not required with the new power we have in SoD, so unless you're a parser or they drastically increase the difficulties of the upcoming raids don't worry about them, especially the minor ones.

"Massive buff to Drain Soul" Brother, This change does nothing. It's still better to use Shadow Bolt over Drain Soul even during the execute window. Drain Soul can not crit and the base damage is just way too low. Just looking at the numbers in a vacuum this update will never make sense. Shadow Bolt SP scaling is SO high that buffing Drain Soul SP scaling by 4x won't even draw them even. Also the dev note about immolate being used by affliction locks is just 100% false. I have no idea where they get their info from but it's not us, it's not Warcraft Logs. I don't think anyone on the dev team plays the class.

I play feral and have done so for years, and will continue to do so. Im pretty happy with where feral in raids. I usually end on 2nd - 3th place on meters with being 14/15 Bis (Chamsiin on Wild Growth) Im super excited to get the full talents at 60, the tier 1 bonus will be alot of dps, and the fact we get cat swipe is so great! I personaly couldnt be more happy

I'm a super sweaty feral. In a slightly above average guild. I regularly top dps meters. Never below 3rd on meters. Plus I bring utility. Anybody with a brain that an exceptional druid pulling 1.8k gold is woth 1000x more than an average rogue pulling 2kdps

since the beginning of sod every class was already viable, in many ways. i didnt really understand the emphasis on "balancing" this phase considering every class has always been desired in sod. i also think logs are not a good way to attempt to balance anyway, since player skill differs so vastly, especially on certain specs. for instance, that warrior doing 800 dps, a top ranked warrior may very well be doing 1500+ with that same exact gear by optimizing his runes, uptime, rotation, cooldown, and rage usage.

in my opinion they have to take the best of each class and balance it accordingly to get 100% out of it, because in the end if your dps is low, you lack player skill.....

They did give us a pull, which is nice, but sadly we lose to everyone even harder than we did before. The pull definitely helps to stay on target, but the 40% damage nerf hurts more than the pull helps.

In a perfect world they would just give everyone the stats we get from world buffs across the board so we don't have to waste any time with it. Running through a cleared dire maul isn't gameplay.

YEA thats an idea to fix the economy. They should make the world buff purchasable, make it 10g for crap buffs 20 for medium buffs and 30g for the good ones. Good gold sink and make everyone happy they dont have to waste time to get the buffs

The thing with the logs that have been coming out is that the melee weapons aren't that great in the PTR, the boss is also lvl 63 so that means glancing blows is more noticeable, also with that warrior doing only 800 dps, there's a big difference between a good warrior and a average warrior, not saying that warrior is bad but that could be why it's so low. I think casters are popping off more is because of the spell hit they put on the rings, a lot of casters are hit capped which i believe is 17%, in vanilla no caster is was hit capped in molten core lol, you'd be lucky to have 3% hit on all your gear.

I have said this so many times. Really long 30 min cds really help give classes super powerful and useful assists. Without making a class OP. I don’t care about charts like these. Trying to balance classes is only going to push blizzard into designing “rotations” for each class and spec. 🤢 Understanding the fundamental combat system of auto attacks plus button presses. Should allow you to design enemies and boss fights where all forms of class design can be relevant. EDIT: Armor class also plays a large roll. Making plate valuable will also help. I’m not sure blizzard understands combat or class design. They make FANTASTIC loot though. but that’s the easy part tbh.

The numbers are broken for mages(and all casters) for a variety of reason. Occultist Poison and Curse of Agony are stacking +10% Spell Damage +10 Spell Damage. Mages come preequipped with +30 sp weapon, greater firepower elixirs(Not in game till AQ?), Brilliant wizard oil(Not in game until ZG?). Also every other consume under the sun. World Buffs are infinitely better for physical classes than they are for caster classes. Most times I've seen these numbers the mage also has warlock SP buff. Also for mages to truly pop off they need a comp with 2 fire mages and 1 frost mage which is usually unlikely. The Mage changes are Brain Freeze - Still not better then spell power boots, Balefire - Not one wants this and its not good, Fireblast - new rune was good and then they made it complete shit. Locks can run around in meta spamming sear pain but mages have 15 seconds on fireblast? gross. They need to replace the mage spell power boot rune instead. Warlock changes are gaslighting locks. Affliction's largest dot isnt immolate... It's Unstable Affliction which the shadowflame rune competes with... Dumb change. Soul Siphon still sucks and wont be used. Backdraft is minor.

Make the leg rune on legs that refreshes corruption also refresh UA and shadow flame. And allow UA and shadow flame together and bam afflic is back. That shadow flame run is kinda in right direction but still needs a decent buff. They could also allow the instant cast shadow bolts proc able to use while casting kinda part of the soul siphon rune.

They really put shadowflame on the same rune slot as UA. Do you really need TWO rune based dots? theres soooooo many buttons to press.

You are correct! But as shown in the logs only 1 rogue is in the raid, so occult poison would be giving a maximum of the normal 10% dps bonus to casters.(that is why I chose this set of logs to show). It’s only bugged in the sense that each single rogue can add 10% more damage. So this set of logs is not benefitting from the occult poison bug.

"Better class balance" - Gives rogues no "behind requirement" but not ferals. Gives rogues AOE bleeds that do more dps per dot than a single feral bleed. GG

what are you crying about? Feral is far more desirable for raid composition & brings more utility even with the addition of occult poison. Druids are the jack of all trades master of none what do you expect every druid spec to be S tier? The appeal to playing druid is the utility it brings as well as the flexibility it offers because it can fill any role in WoW. You can respec to be a Caster DPS, Melee DPS, Tank or Healer. A rogue traditionally only offers 1 of those however in SOD they can tank so for the sake of argument they can fill 2 roles. Feral will NEVER be top dps. If they are then the game balance is terrible. Rogues are a pure DPS class and ferals are a utility support class in classic. This is how it should be if you dont like it re roll

Consider the fact that as a feral, you ARE NOT a primary melee class. You are a hybrid that wants to be melee. If a primary melee dps class has something over you, stop crying or make a primary melee class. Not to mention feral’s brining more utility than rogue, which is a mostly raw dps class. Wanting the world given to you as a hybrid is one of the causes for class imbalances

that has always been the problem for warriors... for them to look even remotely good or decent. they have to have world buffs... and i find that very annoying and fucked up for every class can perform well without the world buffs while warriors requires it... It has always been a thing since then and still is a thing now kinda cause in dragonflight, warriors couldn't perform well without specific items and their weapon needing to be legendary... and that legendary is not even that great... other classes still performing well/better then warrior even with their BiS.

As a warlock I feel lied too. We didn’t get a single spell or ability from anything other than wotlk. And the only “new” spell was shadowbolt volley…. Our class rework nerfed us so damn hard it’s gonna be difficult getting into a raid as anything other than just a CoR bot. Just like classic, don’t know what I expected I guess

Wow this is the worst class balance we've seeen yet in SoD. I think I'm just gonna quit and go play turtle WoW. Seems like they are balancing around the top 0.1% players fully buffed in a raid environment with no consideration to anything else. Even before this 50% dps nerf, Warrior is the worst PvP class by far, worst solo class by far(only class that can't solo elites), mid to lower tier group dps, mid raid dps without world buffs in an average raid. Even with full world buffs and consumes, there only like 5% ahead in most raids(top 90%). The problem with Warriors is that they're 30-40% ahead in the very top raids in the world(top 0.1%). So Blizzard decides to nerf them by 50% to put them mid tier in that scenario(top 0.1% raid dps), while neglecting that they're already mid tier in most raid scenarios(especially progression) and already 50% worse than every other class at PvP and the only class that can't solo effectively. Saying wait for world buffs doesn't cut it for me, as 95% of the time I'm playing, I don't have world buffs. Even when I'm raiding, I'm in a mid tier guild who usually wipes 4-5 times per raid. World buffs are a cancer that ruins class balance. Seems like they wanted so bad to balance it for guys like Ahlondou that they forgot that's like less than 1% of players.
