In this quick tutorial, we take a look at how we can create really nice custom level transitions by using the built in Phaser 3 BitMap Mask objects. With the bitmap masks, we can use various game objects in our Phaser 3 scene to mask out parts of other game objects. By combining some of the built in game objects in Phaser, we can create a really nice scene transition.
