The sound design in this game is really great, they’ve even gone to the trouble of including weird arrhythmic breathing. I’m glad you’re doing this Ian because I’d immediately fill my trousers if I even attempted to play it.

Yea they could do a lot with it. Since it uses the mic already, I'd love it if they could "disappear" one of the players, stop them speaking, & start using bits of their voice to make the others think they might still be alive.. Until bits of them begin dropping on the floor behind them.

This looks really ugly, yet enjoyable in VR. Also, also just a note: Sometimes you're the one turning the lights off, not the ghost. When you flip too many of the light on, you trip the breaker, and everything gets turned off.

It can't KILL you for five minutes. But it can do things and even manifest visibly. Apparently, if you screw up using a ouija board it will end your set-up phrase early. Banshees ignore the grace period because they hunt on a special set of rules because that's their power. Your first mission apparently had a very active ghost that wasn't shy at all. Also, if you have a lighter you can light the candles you find in the houses. Edit: Oh, huh. EMF Level 5 + Freezing temps is either Banshee or Phantom.....well...you got a bad match for a single player.

It affects some people more than others. Certain PC headsets allow for smoothing of the output so the player's head bobbing around is less extreme, but you can't do that with the PSVR one without enormously compromising the video quality.

What is the best VR to get for a high end PC?

If money is no object, probably go with the Valve Index. The next best was the Rift S or Quest but with the (already broken) Facebook integration with those, you may want to avoid them. There are some decent Windows Mixed Reality ones that fall somewhere in the middle too & should work with Steam VR also, but you'll want to check reviews.

@@nightcatarts Thanks for the response. I ended up buying a Quest 2. It seems to work fine with Facebook, I just made a burner account for it. It does seem a bit blurry for my liking but maybe that is how VR works. The real issue is I can't play a game where I move around more than 5 mins without getting extremely motion sick. That is not an issue with the VR as it is more issue with me I guess. Maybe over time, with short periods of usage, I will build up a tolerance.

@@diggles28 Yea start slow on games with less motion & then you should become more comfortable over time. It shouldn't be blurry though; check any physical or virtual IPD & focal distance tweaks you have access to.

@@nightcatarts It isnt blurry as much as just not as high resolution as a monitor. Lower res just looks blurry and is how I explained it.

@@diggles28 Well you are a lot closer to the screen so if you're still & looking at it then yes you'll notice the pixels, but when you're moving around in the game & your attention is "beyond" the pixels then you should stop noticing them. It's probably also something that will improve with more time spent in VR.

Yeah. I've watched Ghost Adventures and most of those ghost hunting shows really turn me off but not Ghost Adventures and this is because it legitimately doesn't feel staged at all and they debunk a lot 9f stuff while they're doing investigations and focus on the things that they can't debunk. I also like when they do stuff like helping when they think that it's actually a demon.
