Phasmophobia VR Gameplay Continues To Make Ian Cry - Ians VR Corner

VR is a wonderful invention, capable of transporting you to other worlds so you can feel like you're living inside them. As they wrap around you in a way unlike flat screen gaming ever could, they make your gaming experiences infinitely more believable than they could be on a TV. And that's why Phasmophobia VR gameplay is so UTTERLY TERRIFYING OMG ARGH! Never has Ian ever been so scared as when he's playing Phasmophobia gameplay solo in VR and you're about to hear some of his biggest yelps ever as he gets stalked from the shadow by two unfriendly spirits. Phasmophobia VR has to be played to be believed, but this episode of Ian's VR Corner gives you a good idea as to how scary it can be. This time with better audio!

Thanks for another awesome vid, Ian :) just a tip for the spirit box - if you say the ghosts name and ask a question, only saying the name (angering the ghost) registers with the game. So either ask questions to the spirit box, or say the name to anger the ghost, don't do both. Can't wait to see more ghost hunting!

It is always good to have more video cameras and tripods. The tripods make the cameras easier to put down and you are more likely to spot the ghost orbs, if you have multiple camera angles in the ghost room. When you use the smudgestick, you should move around the rooms, otherwise you just cleanse the corner of one room. When playing alone it is smart to always have the photocamera when you first walk in, because it is almost certain that it will show it self, without hunting you. Apperently it is possible to hack into other players sessions and take on the role as the ghost and really mess with the ghost-hunters, so upgrade to the beta version and keep your code secret. Also in VR it is possible to put a lit candle on your hoop, that way you will always stay in the light and your sanity won't drop as fast.

You only need to say the ghost’s name if you want them to hunt you. You can ask questions without their name for them to respond on spirit box. Keep up the good work!

The sensors are just to help you identify where the ghost is. Place them on the wall where you suspect they are and they'll show up on the map. For the motion sensor, the map shows a red line that turns green when motion is detected

For watchers... both Sound Sensors and Motion Sensors need to be placed on walls or they won't activate. Motion Sensors need to be placed below eye level. Waist level seems good. The read out of the sensors appears on the monitors in the truck on the map and above the activity chart.

Thing to do with 2 pieces of evidence is to click through the types of ghosts that it COULD be and then you know which pieces of evidence to try for instead of just trying everything.

A lot of the trouble with orbs comes down to "is your camera pointed the right way?" My family group likes to have a room covered by at least two cameras or maybe three in large rooms.

You should be able to get EMF off of objects the ghost has interacted with...so if the ghost writing has happened, point the EMF at the book.

This game reminds me of the time I went into the attic of a historical house on a tour in the summer, I was up there for like 10 minutes before it became freezing cold. It was kinda freaky because someone actually died up there 200 years in the past.

When you find the ghost room, just turn on all your toys and set them down in the room while on and they will continue to work. And when your flashlight is flickering, find a room to hide in that is not the ghost room because the front door has the possibility of getting closed and locked. It's better to just hide to survive

Try not to turn on every light you come across. Turning on too many triggers the fuse to go. Also you attach the motion sensor to a wall, that's why it's not working.

I would love to play this game but the ghost turning off the fusebox all the time is just anoying. Also don't like the thought of every ghost being able to kill you, some should just be curious. That way you can be scared but save at the same time. Maybe I have not seen enough yet but it should have more objects moving, floating, changing places when not watching, knocking, doors slowly closing or opening, doors slamming, windows opening, candlesticks and fireplaces lighting by themselves, doorhandles ratleling, toilet flushing by itself, doorbell ringing, telephone ringing, tv turning on to static channel.

There's a camera smoothing option under VR settings, and you can increase the FoV a bit in the desktop settings menu (you have to start in desktop mode to access that one). It affects the desktop view/the recording and really makes a difference.

Why put a motion sensor on top of the car? It's not as if a ghost is going to crawl over the car. A motion sensor should be placed on a wall.
