Hi, why is it that in the previous video we kept the sine whereas in this one, we had to transform it to the cosine? Much appreciated.

at the end of the video, we transform v=-5sin(wt-30) to phasor form and get 5angle60, did you forget to divide sqrt(2)? Vm to Vrms?

In one of your explanation you had told that the standard waveform can be of sine or cosine then why did you changed the sine form into cosine in question 2..?

When it comes to circuit analysis, the standard waveform is in cosine. Therefore you have to convert any waveform given to cosine in order to solve questions.
