Phasors are rotating vectors having the length equal to the peak value of oscillations, and the angular speed equal to the angular frequency of the oscillations.
They are helpful in depicting the phase relationships between two or more oscillations. They are also a useful tool to add/subtract oscillations.
Khan Academy is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. We offer quizzes, questions, instructional videos, and articles on a range of academic subjects, including math, biology, chemistry, physics, history, economics, finance, grammar, preschool learning, and more. We provide teachers with tools and data so they can help their students develop the skills, habits, and mindsets for success in school and beyond. Khan Academy has been translated into dozens of languages, and 15 million people around the globe learn on Khan Academy every month. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we would love your help!

This is a comment about Mahesh's videos in general: for one, they are excellent! Very concise and easy-to-follow, and Mahesh's tone makes you feel like he's right there with you as a friend, walking you through it. This all makes for the perfect learning experience.

@@susie_baka sure, sister. first you need to make a time table which includes minimum 5-6 hours of self study any time in a day. You should look to clear your concepts of all subjects and donot forget to practice problems on daily basis. You should solve 30-40 problems for each subject and you are done.Remember, if theory is theking application is the queen ]

I don’t usually comment on videos, but I had to share my thoughts this time. As someone who’s always wanted to understand the logic behind things, Khan Academy has been a game-changer for me. The diagrams, the animations-everything is so beautifully done and innovative. I actually feel like I can apply these concepts later on . A huge part of my love for science has stemmed from watching these videos and for that I will forever be grateful . Thank you.

Remember that a phasor diagram of a circuit show us a snapshot of rotating complex numbers whose parts represents the real waveform part. Phasors show us the real and imaginary part. You draw only the real part. It's important know that and not only half of the information. We use only the real part but the imaginary one is there too.
