What's going on hope you're all doing well, times ran out it's ZERO hour, well you get the pun 👍
Phatbodies knocked it out the park with this shell/body can we all agree? Fingers crossed you guys like the car it had to grow on me, I guess its an owner/creator thing. "You must hate what you create" 🤣
Any way this is how I managed to fluke this randomly handsome colour blend, give it ago, give anything ago with RC you'd be surprised.

The quality of the video is being held @360p due to KZbin editing the jingle out when I use the pre-masking. This is what sucks about KZbin no actual free rome, EVEN! If you give credit and add links ect. Sometimes some people can't just be happy with the credit. Any way thanks for watching 👍

I'm a complete noob but I've got one of those zero bodies on order and I would have just sprayed it without knowing to sand and wash it first, so thanks,great video very informative BUT PLEASE can you explain exactly what you mean by ' keeing ' it up ? EDIT I wrote that at the start of the video before you started painting and was I seeing things ? Did you paint the inside of the body ? I'd have painted the outside like spraying a real car. Is that completely wrong then ? Do I need to paint the inside and it shows through?

(Keeing/keying up) is putting loads of tiny scratching on the surface you want to paint. This helps the paint grab onto it rather than chip off with any slight knock. Great body to play around with, fits really well dude. We're all noobs at some point, thanks for watching any question just ask.

Great video I hear uk is getting some record Temps. I live in lousiana US and this time of the year is murder for us. I usually run my rc cars early in the mornings to beat the heat.

Dude, it's awesome! So far I have skipped the keying part as I didn't want to affect the shine, but it turns out great! The last one I painted got some reaction in some areas because I skimped on the de-greasing part. Can't emphasise enough on how important that is! Also, I am not sure what rule to apply with light to dark and such? I just go with the flow as you do, and see what happens.There are only happy mistakes, as Bob Ross used to say.

Thanks dude,, I don't have a video sorry, it was held into position while I drilled the holes, then added two screws/nuts to each side. Most things are measured by eye, double sided sticky tape can help hold stuff on while you mess around.

Two flanged screws with nuts for each side of the wing, attached to the little uprisers on the rear window.

The thin stuff corners brilliant thick fills in the blank for the windows 👍

Yip thats true, most car places use paper to cover windows, wheels ect, I'll use paper or a plastic bag to cover large areas 👍

Yes in another video it shows how I get the round arch before cutting. Then once it's mounted you can find tune the arch for steering clearance.

I got my body post measurements off with my zero body so couldn't get it to sit right with the foam tyres will have to order another one and try again after seeing this. What width foams have you got on it?

Foams front and rear are 26mm wide, shame you've had a little mishap.

The scale is set by phatbodies.co.uk The chassis is the 1/12 scale wltoys but the body does give it a larger look now.
