I enjoyed the entire ride. For me, it was a vicarious ride through the country. Just being able to see green grass again was an absolute pleasure. Not all places have that. Sure not the place I live in. Stay safe. Also enjoyed seeing the Big Foot sign. I had just been thinking this is sure a deep south place, then I saw that.

Something like the Phatmoto would be a good first motorcycle learning bike. Just my opinion. Might also be great for older riders thinking about something other than an electric bike .
@anotherarmchairhistorian283111 ай бұрын
I kinda see your point. The 79 cc is just fast enough but not too fast. Mine hits right at 38 sometimes 40 if the road is slightly downhill. So the bike is just fast enough but not too fast..IMO

Didn't you say that you bought a 212cc kit about six months ago?, that's the only kit I haven't seen anybody build yet, if ya started it already, how's that build going so far?, it seems like most people don't want to video the 4-stroke builds, probably because the level of difficulty, and the hi-rate of failure, I doubt I would've wanted everybody to see all the struggles I had with my 4-stroke builds either, lol, I had too learn the hard-way that you don't use rubber when mounting these engines, it took me forever to figure-out why the chain kept coming off my first 4-stroke build, the second build would've went a lot smoother if the transmission-plate, and the rear belt-drive pulley wasn't bent, it's always something with these damn things, lol, great video, thanks for sharing Austin.

I noticed that you don't answer any questions in the comments. But I have a question anyway. Lol. How do them bikes do on up hills? Thanks for the video. Stay safe. God bless.
@twowheeledadventures2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately KZbin doesn't actually notify me about all of my comments so some of them get lost in the sea. I do try to respond! Ask for how well the bikes do on hills just depends on quite a few things, like weight, motor used, sprocket set up, ect, but as for the phatmoto it goes well up mild inclines, and it will take pretty steep hills with just a little bit of pedal assist it honestly does pretty well! Bigger sprocket equals more torque "easier to go up hills but slower top speed" Smaller sprocket equals more top end speed but less low in torque "a little harder to go up hills". Thanks for watching and happy riding!
@thomascornelius5102 жыл бұрын
Ok great. Thank you very much. . Stay safe. God bless
@anotherarmchairhistorian283111 ай бұрын
Mine has a 79 cc and for minor or regular inclines it does pretty good. For really steep inclined it needs some help with the pedals. There's not a lot of torque on these bikes. For the most part inclines on most roads haven't been an issue for me.

How fast are you going did you do the gov bypass
@twowheeledadventures2 жыл бұрын
Tops out at about 30 with me on it yes the governor is bypassed. I still have the stock 50 Sprocket in the back so if you lowered it to a 45 I'm sure you'll get a little more out of it plus I weigh about 230 pounds so if you're a little lighter I'm sure you'll get a little more out of it as well.

I been reading the reviews about this Phatmoto bike and they have a lots of problems with brakes and cable and gas tank leaking ETR and what kind of problems did you experience when you first bought this bike?
Something I've noticed is that people that are having breaking issues aren't lining up the calipers properly. I had the same issue and had to get extra washers to get it lined up. Just something to keep in mind if you get one. Make sure both are properly lined up.
