Yes. All living organisms in the soil live on each other. They provide food for each other (search soilfoodweb for answers). All living organisms are made of carbon and when they die they will provide plants with carbon and minerals.

腐植質本身是碳基，需要碳來組合，是由植物行光合作用，吸收CO2轉變成糖，變成它的身體，才有葉子枝幹根莖，而化學合成農藥，主要成份為氮、磷、鉀，並不需要碳來組合，所以改為有機的養護土壤及種植方式，主要就是在恢復補充土壤裡的腐植質，所以就是在固碳、捕捉大氣裡的CO2。
