I think it is a good idea to mix the people in the WG. Also coming into contact to Germans will help on learning German and you have much more connections in the community. In case you need a new job or new appartment, local friends may new offers even before they become public. Beeing less Indian, through eating less spicy? An interesting way of becoming more Germanized.
