I have had all sorts of problems with phd2 including finding the check box for multi star guiding. I then rematch your video and realised that I should have downloaded the device version. I don't know about push here dummy, it should also be follow the clear instructions in the video dummy. Thanks again.

I agree, this is a game changer indeed. My RMS went from 1.6 to 0.7. And you have to consider that this is under high light pollution and smog of Mexico City.

I also tried the multiple start setting on PHD2 last week. It worked great with my Raptor and AVX mount. I got good pictures of the Pin wheel galaxy and the Leo Triplet. Now to try it on the C11. Good video, thanks AV.

I used multi-star guiding when I captured my blue horse head photo - and I was able to do 30m subs with zero throw away frames.

Definitely a game changer I use with the pre pec algorithm on my belt mod Eq6 , you’ll definitely knock at least 20% off your Rms

Thanks for the video - The multistar guiding is tough for OAG. I'm still working out how to dial in the sensitivity for the multistar guiding since, at best I get 1-2 extra stars being picked out. For on-axis, it's a game-changer!

Yeah I was wondering about that but, then again might be overkill for OAG anyway. I consistently get .5 total RMS with an OAG using the single star method. Thanks for watching. Clear skies!

Great info Aaron! I have a question, I want to upgrade my mounts, currently I have the old and first Celestron cgem and the newer Advance vx, they work great but I want something better, do you think the EQ6-R Pro would be a good choice? My telescopes I would use with it are, Evostar 80ed, Apertura 72ed, Orion 6" and 8" astrograph, Edge hd8 and Sct 11". Zwo asi533mc and Zwo Asi2600mc. Thanks in advance. God bless you.

Depends on your budget really. If you’re budget is under 2k then yeah the EQ6 r pro is tough to beat. If your budget is a bit higher then that opens up other possibilities. Thank you and God bless you sir!

@@douglasestrada26 in that case, I’d look at Ioptron CEM60 and the CEM70. If you want to future proof it then I’d consider the CEM120 or EQ8 r pro as well
