Hi, would you kindly let me know which gearbox shell is compatible with this specific model ? And if it's compatible with aftermarket m4 hopup units or If it has it's own aftermarket hopup. Would love to get one and upgrade everything. I know this is old video, but if you could respond I'd highly appreciate!

Hello! It will take any generic on spec Version 2 gearbox. So the ones by Cyma , JG, TM and so on all will fit fine. The hop unit is unique to the G3 and they are very very good , I'm not aware of an after market one, but you can get an original TM hop unit for it and they are excellent! After that, it's just a version 2 gearbox so will take any version 2 parts, motor, standard barrels, the whole works! Hope that helps! Pheas

I know this is an old video, but i have a t3 sas brand new to airsoft. What style of parts are used for this, is it v2 m4 type, or mp5? All around gearbox, spring, hop up etc. Just want to make sure i order correct parts the first time. Thanks!

Hello, the gear set is standard v2, the trigger and selector plate are G3 specific, the Hop is also g3 specific. What are you looking to upgrade in it ? Pheas

@Pheas Airsoft most likely motor and gears, barrel, spring. I just want to speed it up a little and get better trigger response. Not looking for crazy speed or crazy high velocity.

Hello! They an be if it is a simple mosfet, but the more complex ones can struggle to detect the voltage properly of a nihm type, they typically work better with lipos. Pheas

Hello! Considering it's plastic it's very solid, there is a little bit of movement where the front end connects onto the upper receiver as it's not a big connections point, but it's solid enough. I've just sold on, after 1 year of ownership, the next model up with a ris unit front end and it was as solid as this one is, but with a heavier front end. Can't say I've ever noticed any squeeking or noise from the body. Pheas

Hiya, yes! As long as you have room for the chip to sit in, it can in theory bit fit into any airsoft gun (that is run from a battery) Pheas

Hiya! It could well be the fuse, I would have thought that if the fuse has blown then it is for a good reason, so you may find that something has also failed in the gearbox. I would replace the fuse first (get a couple just in case) and test it! Pheas
