I think I've come to understand, I like your music because of your voice, not to diminish the instrumentals. I say this because I don't particularly like the original version of this song by Leonard Cohen. Instead, like many people, I prefer the Rufus Wainwright version from the Shrek soundtrack, and a large part of that is Wainwright's voice. Similarly this cover is quite enjoyable.
